Stonewall's BBQ & Catering
Award Winning BBQ
Always Something Good Cooking!
When you travel through Mississippi, head down to Picayune and locate yourself at Stonewall's BBQ & Catering. Whether your riding out of the Piney Woods of south Mississippi to the coastal plain along the Pearl River, or traveling I-10 along the Gulf Coast, with the longest man-made white sand beaches anywhere, Picayune is an easy stop over and well worth the visit. Picayune is an old train town and a lumber town, with a mix of cajun spice and Magnolia charm that makes for great food, so people just naturally get along.
US Interstate 59 is a vital artery that connects the southwestern edge of the Mississippi and New Orleans via I-10 with Meridian and I-20 to Birmingham, Nashville, and Atlanta. The town of Picayune lies along this route. Picayune has an interesting history as a vital rail and river traffic link to the region you can discover at the local Picayune Maint Street tourism office, near the train display. Anyone in town can tell you that a good place to eat is close by in downtown at Stonewall's BBQ & Catering.
Stonewall's BBQ & Catering was originally developed in Poplarville, a small community north of Picayune. That location and operation were acquired by a franchiese interest and the original Pit Master and developer of the brand opened his signature location near the train tracks in downtown Picayune. Lots of front door parking kinda made the decision easier. Now a modern kitchen with a down-home patio and fast service waits tourists and local residents year-round. Come admire the decorations during the holidays and you'll be in the spirit right away. Stonewall's BBQ & Catering will give you a new favorite spot to entertain your family and friends.
Enjoy some great barbecue food at Stonewall's BBQ & Catering and be sure to tell Mr. Tony Smith himself that you heard about them on the Mississippi BBQ Trail.
